Each beginner SUP lesson is a hands-on experience! To date (August 21, 2022), having given nearly 1,210 lessons, it’s what we do best. We teach about the various types of boards, explain the features of, how to safely handle the equipment and the board! Explaining how our equilibrium balances us, eye and head movement, the “3 planes”, and different paddling positions. We detail the importance of “the paddle” and how it is “it” ~ it’s what connects us to the water. Learning how to control the board in most conditions!!

Covering paddle techniques is key, then on the boards, on the water ~ coaching, practicing, working on technique and tieing it all together (while having fun) for all to build upon! Also covered is understanding how the local tides, winds, currents, and weather conditions play an important role in having success (while safely and smartly) enjoying your new hobby-sport! $45/hr private beginner follow up lesson, novice paddle coaching session, advanced paddle technique session. Focus on paddle technique/form, fitness skill development and flow. Learn how to “keep up with the pack”! Learn from the pros to really excell in the sport. Train with a pro! Your equipment or ours. By appointment only!

Generally we charge $80 to try two (2) boards of your choice, 100 minutes. Want to try an iSUP? Maybe one of our hardboards? Touring shape or recreational shape? Performance or stability? Big or smaller size? We want our customers to be happy with, if you decide to purchase a new board from us! Try it before you buy. Highly recommended if you're unsure! We'll credit you towards the purchase of! Additional boards extra.
